I shouldn’t have to try so hard to make multitasking work on a Mac

There are at least half a dozen ways to multitask on macOS, and I can’t find a single one that I enjoy using.

Normally, my work setup starts with a Windows PC, which can be a single laptop screen, a desktop plugged into Samsung’s ridiculous ultrawide G9 curved monitor, or something in between.
